Summary: Is a Nokia Cable
Comment: This cable is a Nokia cable and did sync with my Nokia 6103. The cheap versions do not. While happy that it worked I returned it since it would not stay tight in my phone. They quickly refunded my purchase price without complaint.

Comment: I bought a cheap version on eBay and just couldn't deal with the lack of reliability, so I purchased this. I don't see any difference, but the functionality is totally on. Haven't had any problems, wish I never wasted my time with the knock-off version.

Comment: The item I received was not a Nokia product as advertised and did not work with my phone. It was aftermarket from china. I finally ordered one from Nokia and it worked. Nokia cables are all made in Thailand and have Nokia stamped into the plastic end.

Summary: Cable saved the day for phone with broken display
Comment: The problem: all the phone numbers in the Nokia 6103 default to storing in the phone, rather than in the SIM card. Of course, we did not discover this until the display on the phone cracked and the menu display stayed solid black (not good - you need to see the menu to do almost everything, including recover saved phone numbers)! So, thinking we were smart we got a replacement phone and simply moved the SIM card from the broken phone to a replacement phone. Yes, the new phone worked, but The Horror! All the stored phone numbers were lost!
The solution: this cable.
We downloaded the Nokia PC suite software from Nokia's web site, then plugged in the phone using this cable to the PC, and "voila"! We could browse folders on the phone and copy out all the saved numbers to the PC, and then, move them to the new phone.
The only "trick" in the process was discovering that you needed the SIM card in the Nokia phone for the PC to be able to see the phone contents. Once we figured that out, we simply moved files onto the PC from the broken phone, then unplugged it, then moved the SIM card from the broken to the replacement phone, then plugged it in, then transferred the files onto the new phone.
This cable saved the day!
