Customer Rating: Summary: cheap option for high value Comment: Software installation on my Vista Home system was easy and flawless. Online updating gave me the latest version for a pittance in investment. Excellent alternative to paying $40. Customer Rating: Summary: Dosen't work with W490 Comment: I thought this would work with my Motorola W490, but apparently I need version 4.5.6a or something. I should have done more research. Customer Rating: Summary: Beware! Comment: All of the advertisement says works with Motorola phones. Advertisements do not specify any certian types, just Motorola phones. This does not work with iden phones ( i670 to be specific). Paid cheapo price. Not worth bothering with return. Will give to a friend or sell at flea market. Is there software that will perform this function? Bob. Customer Rating: Summary: MPT in any version is a cr*p shoot at the dice table. Comment: I don't expect this to be a helpful review, I just felt the need to say what a lousy deal this software can be if you have an incompatible cell phone even though the list of compatible phones says it should work. To be blunt, the overall product sucks for compatibility, as does most of motorolas cell phone programming. Motorola does not make this product, which must be why it probably works for some phone versions and service provider combinations. After emailing tech support for the software manufacturer, they eventually gave up rather quickly as well and started to email generic replies and links to older versions of the software that were also not compatible. I just happen to choose a lemon for cell phone versions that even though listed as compatible, has an overwhelming list of complaints from other users that have the same phone version/model and service provider. Don't pay for any version of this product, it should be bundled with cell phones and should be proven compatible as well. Motorola, you suck and so does the company that made this software.
