Summary: I like this product
Comment: I had a crappy pair of blue tooth headphones before so take my advice with a grain of salt. I LOVE the controls to change tracks and volume. You swivel the outer portion of the earphone to make these changes. Battery life is excellent (had these for about 3 months). Sound quality is excellent. I have a large cranium (XL motorcycle helmet) and they fit great. The pads are rubber which makes my ears sweat after a while. I wish they had some optional foam covers. I can only take wearing them for about an hour before it becomes bothersome. The case is super cool. Makes taking them on the road easy. I will not comment on bluetooth signal quality because my Tilt 8900 may be the cause.

Summary: Not recommended for real-time listening or movies
Comment: This is not a complaint on the vendor, but merchandise does not meet my expectations. Audio has around a 1/2 second delay, which makes this head phones useless when watching movies or other real-time events.
This is apparently a typical bluetooth technology problem as I have seen on different internet forums. However this problem is not noticeable when
listening to an audio CD or an MP3 player.

Summary: Best so far But....
Comment: I purchased these to use mainly for snowboarding. Earbuds don't work for this sport and I'm sick of having to take off my gloves to change tracks or adjust volume. I usually go through one pair of headphones a year and finally decided to go wireless. So far, not too bad. I have to agree with a previous post that parts of this headset could be a little more ballistic. I don't expect that little rubberized flap that covers the charge port to last too long. It's hard to even keep it closed. I do love the fact that you can switch tracks and adjust volume with your gloves on but sometimes it seems there is a delay when using these functions. Also, these controls are a bit clunky and there is quite a bit of play in them. I do like the fact that when you turn the headset off the ipod also turns off. The biggest downsides are sometimes the volume gets stuck and won't change unless you turn the headset off and back on again which also means that you have to turn your ipod back on. This has happened twice in the last two weeks. I don't know how most people wear their headsets with their goggles. I like to wear my goggles over the headset so I don't lose them if I bail. The strap on the goggles sometimes impedes the back and forth motion of the volume and track controls. This can be a hassle. I'd like to see a headset design with this in mind. Someone also mentioned in a previous post that the signal breaks up if you don't position your ipod or phone correctly. I've experienced this also but not while snowboarding. I haven't tried this headset with my phone because to be perfectly honest, I hate it when people use their cell phones while skiing or riding. I think this is one of the main reasons people like to tune out while riding. Who wants to listen to some barney yakking on endlessly about nothing when you can be tuned into a little monster magnet? Anyway, even if you count all the downsides to this headset, it's still far better than the earbuds or anything else that's wired. I think bluetooth is only getting better. I've seen improvements with this technology in just the last two years. I just hope they start designing headsets that are built a little tougher and water resistant/water proof for snow sports. Cut down on the bulk and design it for goggle use as well.

Summary: good sound, average design
Comment: Overall, the sound and ergonomics is good, but the charging a pairing process is annoying.

pros:
- comfortable to wear
- decent weight
- good quality sound and very decent bass
- the BT range is a little better than my last BT headphones

cons:
- very difficult pairing and turning on process. I have a mac which typically makes bluetooth seamless. however, instead of an on/off button, Moto makes you hold down a power button until you see two blue blinks. the blinking happens in a light which is under your finger when you're pressing the button so you can't see it. after doing that apparently you also have to hold down the other start/stop button for about 3 seconds. at some point the mac will pop up with a dialog asking if you want to use the headphones. if you do that at the right time relative to the other button presses on the headphones, you might actually hear sound coming out of them. this is very tedious - all BT devices are somewhat clumsy in my experience, but this one is worse that usual. A simple on/off switch for these headphones would be a great improvement.
- the charging is via a USB cable. this isn't too bad, but it is much more difficult than some of the advanced wireless headphones which use a cradle charging system where you can just set the headphones on the cradle and they auto-charge.

I got a pair from a 3rd party for about $45, which was probably worth it - but these aren't worth more until Moto fixes the pairing/turning-on issue to be much simpler.

note: I do not use the microphone, and I am pairing this with a desktop to use as headphones only.
