Summary: I wouldnt cross the steet to get this phone for free
Comment: Dont waste your time or money on his phone. It is the worst phone I have ever had. From day one the battery life was awful. One or two phone calls phone is dead. Replaced battery numerous times to no avail.

This phone also looses its mind when it cant connect to a tower. Cycling and Cycling killing the phone within 2 or 3 min.

Other features that suck: the alarm clock which works when it wants to, the verizon software (not motorolas fault) runs rediculosly slow, connection to the tower is nominal at best most times (which is motorolas fault) I live in the burbs and havent had any problems getting service with any other verizon phone ive owned.

DO NOT BUY THIS PHONE.

Summary: Terrible Phone...
Comment: I decided to switch from Sprint to AT&T, specifically to get access to this phone. I was drawn to the small, thin size of the phone and the flashy blue color. Before I bought it, I read all the reviews and found that it was much better than the RAZR... or so I thought!

I have had this phone for a little over a year! I hate it! I can barely hear people, as the sound is muffled through the phone. Noone can hear me when I use the bluetooth feature through my car. The front of the phone is already cracked just from normal use - I have not dropped it, although sometimes I want to out of frustration. In addition, the phone freezes from time to time and I cannot receive incoming calls. And probably the biggest issue is that I consistently get dropped calls! This happens even when I am speaking with another AT&T network user. It is ridiculous. If I didn't have this contract for another 11 months, I would definitely switch!!!!

Summary: Dont pick me
Comment: I got this phone because of looks and still love the look of it, however, I am on my forth one of the same pretty but useless phone. I have been lucky in that it breaks in a way that is no way my fault and I continue to get replacements for free with Verizon. However, the phones challenges continue on to the next phone. The first one the incoming sound went out, neither phone was dropped or went for a swim or anything, just stopped working, and while those I called could hear me, this was not enought. Then next TWO phones, yes I am on number four. The screen would go fuzzy or white without warning. The first one did it on and off for a few weeks but it seemed to work just fine as we got close to a Verizon store (of course). Then when it finally managed to stay broken long enought I got it in to get a new one. The problem was that it would always be broken during the times I was traveling and really could have used my phone. The third one I did not wait at all for it to stay broken, I took it in and said it wasnt working for the past two days, and just started five minutes ago on the way here. They replaced it with my fourth. Unfortunatly I have to report I have already had the screen go blank on my twice but it only lasted a few minutes, this time. I am so done with this phone but too cheap to pay agian for a new one. PS I have had this phone since Jan 08 and its now Sept 08 and getting ready to get number five.

Summary: DON"T DO IT
Comment: I usually have a high tolerance for glitches. It is often easier to bear it than go to the trouble to fix the proble. However, this phone is an exception. I neglected to buy the insurance, but would not pay $50 for a new one anyway. Purchased over the phone when I renewed my contract, this phone had all the features I required and a couple more. The card slot is BEHIND the battery and is not at all convenient. The newer model has changed this, I believe. Everything else negative that has been said about this phone has been experienced by me, except the interface features because I haven't had time to even format my SD cards. I prefer removable memory because I listen to training and language tapes often and do not wish to carry a million CD's or my Ipod everywhere I go. (There is only so much room in a handbag.) Verizon has always given us superior coverage, customer service and fewer dropped calls. I do not intend to drop my carrier. Every Moto phone we have owned has been superlative. I will educate myself on how to buy a used phone so that I may make some calls until my contract runs out--over a year from now. Do peole really pay $500 for this piece of trash? Anybody wanna buy a battery with 15 minutes of life left?

Summary: Cute phone, not so much fun as it ages.
Comment: I bought the KRZR in Oct. of 2006 as an upgrade to my new every 2 plan. I was extremely happy with it in the beginning. The battery life was excellent and the sound quality superior. It looked pretty too. ;) Now after having the phone for about a year, the battery life stinks. And contrary to some others comments, it's not because I use it too much or dont charge it all the way. I charged my phone all night long, didn't use it at all. Took it off the charger at 7 a.m. and went to make a call at 10 a.m. and it went dead. Now occasionally I've found that when it goes dead, I can turn the phone off for a few secs, turn it back on, and miraculously, there's my long lost battery life. Who knew? I've allso noticed it has dropped calls even though I have full bars or just not let me connect even though I have full bars. It's quite strange because at other times, I can make/receive phone calls with no bars. There's too much inconsistency. Overall, the phone looks good, but if you want something that lasts the full two years, I'd go with something different.
