Music sounds as it should in the headphones and the adapter easily fits into the phone (other adapters are too big or bulky to adequately connect to the jack in the phone). We have 2 new cell phones from Verizon. A LG ENV2 and a Motorola Adventure V750. I bought 2 of these adapters for my Motorola thinking that it said Motorola, would work fine. It didn't. However, it does work on the LG phone. I think this adapter works with the ORIGINAL RAZR and not the RAZR 2 or Adventure. The $12.99 adapter that Verizon sells works with both phones, so I guess I will live with that and my wife gets to listen to her music now! Tried 3 different pairs of headphones and in all cases there was only sound out of one side.
Note: Buy an adapter with only two lines on the male end (witness in the picture how there are three lines) and you should be fine.
The three lines are for: Left, Right, and Microphone.
Therein lies the problem, you want two lines, one for Left and one for Right, since headphones don't have a microphone.
